Hollie was rescued from a 110+ dog plus hoarding situation in North Texas.
This beautiful girl is looking for a moderate to active family that will continue helping her thrive. Hollie has plenty of energy if you want her company on adventures and would make an excellent companion for hiking, nature walks, swimming, exploring trails, or simply keeping up with an active lifestyle. Although she is also fine simply enjoying mentally stimulating toys and activities that keep her engaged and happy along with 2x per day walks. She is happy sitting and napping indoors with her humans and will advise is potty break is needed by going to the back door staring out the window.
She is wonderful with children and gets along great with cats. She is very respectful of feline friends and tends to mind her own business rather than bother them. She has a gentle, sweet nature and loves being part of the family.
Like many dogs who have experienced uncertainty, Hollie can still be startled by loud noises, but she continues to make progress every day. What she needs most now is a patient, loving home where she can continue building confidence and enjoying the life she deserves.
